EastEnders spoilers follow.

Yolande Trueman receives surprising news from a returning character in EastEnders.

Last week, Yolande came face to face with her abuser, Pastor Clayton, at Jordan Fox’s baptism, resulting in her walking out of the church when he tried to intimidate her.

Yolande decided that she would report the pastor to the police, after having previously decided to report him to Elder Levi.

In scenes airing on BBC Two on Wednesday and tomorrow on popular streaming service BBC iPlayer, Yolande receives devastating news from DS Page, who says her case against the vicar is not strong enough to warrant a criminal charge.

While Yolande is at her lowest point, Levi returns with surprising news that could change everything.

Yolande was previously disheartened when she returned to Walford after her split from Patrick to find that Levi had suddenly left, in the midst of the Church’s investigation.

The soap opera has confirmed that Levi will reveal that he investigated Pastor Clayton and found a woman named Delia who accused him of sexual abuse in 2016.

Delia experienced a similar disappointment when the police decided not to pursue a criminal case against Pastor Clayton, citing insufficient evidence.

Viewers saw Delia briefly in a harrowing episode in April, where it was revealed that Pastor Clayton had abused multiple women during his career.
