“I Feel The Pain Of Mainstream Gospel Artists” – Patrick Doyle Reacts As Tems Wins Best Gospel/Inspirational Award At 2024 BET Awards

Veteran Nollywood actor Patrick Doyle reacted to singer Tems winning the 2024 BET award for Best Gospel/Inspirational.

For her song “Me & U,” Tems won the Dr. Bobby Jones Best Gospel/Inspirational Award at Monday’s BET Awards, held at the Peacock Theatre in Downtown Los Angeles, California.

Big names like Kirk Franklin, CeCe Winans, Maverick City Music and others were beaten out for the prize by Tems’ 2023 song.

Christians who feel betrayed by Tems’ victory should stop seeking approval from untrustworthy organizations like the mafia in the entertainment industry, according to a Facebook post by Patrick Doyle.

The Hollywood star claims that Satan controls the entertainment industry.

He wrote: “I feel the pain of mainstream gospel artists who feel passed over that Tems, an obviously secular musician, won the BET award for Best Gospel Song. That being said, I believe it is high time that committed Christians stop looking for validation from fickle institutions like the entertainment industry mafia which is in the grip of Satan by the way.”
