When Lebanese icon Najwa Karam performs, she never misses the chance to end her concert with a little surprise. But it was during her final performance that the star dropped the biggest surprise of all.

During her tour in Bucharest for her joint concert with Romanian pop singer Antonia, Najwa wore a custom-made couture dress by Lebanese designer Rami Kadi. She later revealed that this was her wedding dress.

On stage she excitedly announced, “This dress means a lot to me! Not only because it’s a color I really like, but also because it was my wedding color. This is the dress I wore on my wedding day.”

Naturally, the singer’s fans cheered enthusiastically when the official news about her marital status, which had been the subject of many speculation, was announced.

News of the surprise announcement quickly spread to other celebrities, such as Assala Nasri, Maya Diab, Diana Haddad and Rami Kadi herself, who congratulated her on her wedding.

After the concert, she posted a series of photos on Instagram showing the mother-of-pearl couture wedding dress, which featured a draped silhouette and a cathedral train.

Who is Najwa Karam’s husband?

Najwa is married to Emirati businessman Omar Aldahmani – the chairman of Al Dahmani and Moments Events based in Dubai, UAE. Not much is given about their marriage and relationship as Najwa prefers to keep her personal life private.

Still, she received many good wishes from her fans.

A tribute performance for King Mohammed VI

Before her concert in Romania, the award-winning singer performed her song ‘Don’t Be Surprised’, a tribute to the Kingdom of Morocco and its monarch King Mohammed VI at the Nahda Square Theatre for the Mawazine Festival.

As a closing act, she attracted the highest and largest number of visitors ever, surpassing all other Arabic concerts and setting a new record in the Middle East.
