Chrisean Rock’s reunion with son falls through due to jail time

Chrisean Rock won’t be holding her son in her hands anytime soon. The rapper was sentenced to prison after her surprise arrest last week in California. Rock was picked up by authorities June 10 at a San Fernando Valley courthouse on a felony fugitive warrant. Now, more details have emerged about the situation, and the future looks bleak for the television personality.

The court sentenced Rock to 30 days in jail and twelve months probation. However, she will receive five days credit for time served since her arrest. The outstanding arrest warrant was related to an altercation in November 2023 at Tamar Braxton’s concert. Recall that the 24-year-old allegedly attacked backup dancer James Wright backstage during the Love and War anniversary tour. The incident blew up on social media. Braxton publicly denounced Rock, and Wright sued her for assault, battery and emotional distress.

As part of her probation conditions, the Bad guys The star must stay 100 yards away from Wright and the Lucky Strike bowling alley, where the fight took place. In addition, the mother of one child is not allowed to use or possess dangerous or deadly weapons during the probation period. While a month behind bars doesn’t seem like a long time, Rock’s legal troubles are far from over. Per TMZ, Rock will be extradited to Oklahoma once her issues in California are resolved. There she faces a number of drug charges, and her sentence could be harsher.

Blueface’s mother laments the poor timing of Chrisean’s punishment

With Rock heading to prison and her baby daddy Blueface currently behind bars until July 2024, their son’s well-being is of concern. According to Blueface’s mother, Karlissa Saffold, the legal system is disrupting her family. The matriarch lamented the timing of Rock’s arrest and conviction, saying it was unnecessary for authorities to take the female rapper into custody while she was in court supporting Blueface.

While both parents are away, Chrisean Jr., who is about eight months old, is now in the care of one of Rock’s friends. However, Blueface’s mother thinks her grandson will be better off with her and is fighting the judge over the child’s living conditions. She plans to hold down the fort until Rock of Blueface is released.
